You set it in the configuration. Have a look at the php.ini directives [php.net] and where they each are changeable for more information.

Im a real n00b to this whole PHP thing. What do i do with the php.ini directives?
Put them into a php.ini file?
Where on the server should that go?

the server already has one, it will need to be edited. I imagine you would have to contact your host for this.
