PHP mail function

PHPlist vs. Christal tech

My host did something a couple of months ago to their mail server to make it more secure. YOu now have to delare more variables or something. NOw my PHPlist will not work because it can not connect to the SMTP server or something like that.

JUst wandering if any of you have run into the same problem and could tell me how to fix it?

why don't you just ask your host what they did and what you should do to keep using the mail function.

Bcause PHPList is a third party software and they don't give any help on third party stuff. Their sugestion is to post to their message boards but I came to the conclusion awhile back that all the smart webdesigners are too busy hanging out here then on my host's boards.

I have not run into the same kinda problem yet but i am sure i can help you, please explain the following,

1 - if you can paste the exact code where its giving your error,

2 - if you can show us the exact error you are getting,

3 - the HOST must have told all the members the new code style or variables etc to use to send emails please show us that too,

I am very hopeful you will get solution.
