can we use dummy credit cards for the customers' mode of payment? what are other alternative for this?
it's very complicated to do if you're not making it for real because it needs a bank behind it and a SSL(which is not free).
what if we'll make a database for credit cards? sorry, i dont really have an idea.. pls help us out..
well, if it was a real world project then a bank should be used along with ssl, while all testing procedures would be applied by dummy card provided by bank....in this case, u can use a database to store **DUMMY** credit card data along with user profiling but please do mention that this should NEVER HAPPEN in a real project. Even if you were a pgp or gpg expert (2 way-encryption) I would insist to use a bank rather than playing this role yourself. Just ask yourself: Why do I need do store confidential and sensitive data when there is someone who can do it for me => BANK...
