Plesk and php session

Hi
We are trying a new dedicated server with Plesk; our site is still hosted by another ISP; in the plesk preview mode under apache2handler section, the Hostname:Port still points to the domain name instead of the IP address I gave in the config file (ServerName and UseCanonical is On);

But sites which are not in preview mode (DNS pointing to the new server) works fine;
any help is appreciated

Have you restarted the Apache server after making the changes?

Yes I did; still no use; my phpino page still thinks the servername/port is #*$!:80 instead of ip address:80
