Looking for simple multi-user journal script

I have been searching all over Hotscripts and everywhere else and I cannot seem to find what I am looking for. :)

I am trying to find a script that will allow visitors to create their own journal/blog on my site. I do not need a big full-featured CMS, but rather something as simple as possible.

Some sort of template system would be nice, so I can easily match it to my site, but it is not a huge deal. I can do it manually either way.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated! :) Thanks!

I know that movable type has the ability for multiple authors and you can set permissions for each, you can do templates and all that.

Have you looked into mt or some of the other standard blog software?

I think most of the multi user ones cost money though, no free versions.

I have looked into several blogs, but none of them come close to what I need.

I know I said multi-user, but what I really need is multi-blog :) Where users can create their own blog on my site, without me having to setup a hundred or so blog installations manually :)

I am sure there must be something out there.. I am still searching :)

It is so they can use it for little journal-type pages. Where users can create their own and post to it. Nothing fancy really.
