I have an idea for a directory. I have a domain name and a hosting service which provides php and MySql support. I have obtained a php script that will allow me to create a small directory and am trying to instal that php script but, being a absolute newbie am struggling to figure out how exactly i need to go about installing the script. Is this something that a person with no programming experience (like myself ) can do? or should i seek paid help? Is there a sequence of steps that I can follow to install it myself?
Would greatly appreciate any pointers on how to go about this...

Usually the site that has the script will offer some installation instructions or a readme file, etc. If not, then you are correct in that it may be time to roll up your sleeves and learn a bit of PHP (which is what this forum is all about) or you will have to locate yourself a developer to assist.
