can i upgrade from php 4.2.2 to 5

Im running php 4.2.2 with apache in my RH9. Please tell me can i upgrade php 4.2.2 to php 5.x?

Ofcourse you can. I havent touched redhat for a while now, but i think you should play with rpms and rpm manager.

You have to uninstall old php and then install new one.

Upgrading php means you will need to upgrade apache modules and extensions. Not sure if rpm managers do that automaticaly or not (-;
