PHP+PHP admin+ myssql in Dreamweaver

Cant sync these three

Installed apache, it works fine. PHP also works fine. But now probs is that I cant correlate php and mysql. I have phpMyAdmin installed but dunno how to synchronize php and mysql thru this.
On dreamweaver it when i want to include database mysql , it asks for (1) connection name (2) mysql server (3)username (4) password . i dont know any such except password whihc i gave when i installed mysql.

also cant figure out how to make database in mysql!

Lots of problems :((
any help/guidance will be much appreciated

Since you are using DMX (Dreamweaver), I will assume that you are using a WAMP setup (Windows-Apache-MySQL-PHP).

You state that you have INSTALLED Apache and PHP, but I did not see you state that MySQL is installed. Make sure that a MySQL server is INSTALLED and that it is CONFIGURED.

INFO U: You do NOT SYNCHRONIZE PHP and MySQL.

I think what you are asking is: how to use PHP to access DATA in a MySQL database?

Per the DMX question:
(1) Connection Name - pick a name that makes sense to you
(2)MySQL Server - In your case, I believe it will be 127.0.0.1 (LOCALHOST) - just type in "localhost" without the "".
(3)User name - this is relatively clear...if you have trouble, try using "root" since it should have all Rights to DB.
(4)Password - again look at 3

Most important, be patient, you seem to be new to this, and it takes a little time and effort to learn a few of the requisites.

Thanks.Yes I am having PHP PHPAdmin Mysql and Apache.
I have mysql but i could not connect it..For localhost, I gave my IP host address! and same password! I think that was mistake.

I will try with your suggestions.

Also I will have to install PHP again coz it is not working for some reason.. i read on webmonkey.com to install PHP , prob i did a typo!
