I'm about to redesign my whole site, and have just read (in Make Your Site Sell) that if a site has more than one 'theme' it can't rank highly for any of them. The only way to go, he says, is to create separate sites for each at separate domains.
Argh. I really, really hope this isn't true... Won't AV (and Google) accept subdirectories, or subdomains, to demarcate different themes?
I would be *very* grateful for some advice on this!
Thanks :-)

I'm not an SE expert like most of the people in this forum, but one of my sites (see profile) has five pointer domains, all of which rank equally well. But then again, the site is broken down into six sections relating to the different names - the main domain name and the five pointers. Personally, I think as long as the pointers are relative to the site content, it shouldn't be necessary to create individual sites.
