More proof of problems at AV: Now motorcycleworld.com is pulling up under virtually every search term that I can think of. But unlike the porn site that previously accomplished this, not all the listings are from the same page.

chocolate - pg1 #5
cat - pg1 #7
leather repair - pg1 #2
fubar - pg2 #13
christmas - pg1 #7
pokemon - pg3 #26
stuff - pg1 #3, #7, #9

(even pulling up when I do searches for my sites by their domain names)

There is also another one in this mix, a page referencing the actress Pam Grier. motorcycleworld is #1 for apples and pumpkins, number 2 for coffee and surprisingly only 10 for toenails. Pam Grier comes up in the teens. Since it is the same page each time for PGrier, doubtful that m-world.com is the culprit I would surmise.

I didn't see those results. But one of my searches, "cat", returned duplicate banner ads and no results!

Two ways of looking at this;

1. It's a fix
2. AV's link pop algo has not made an allowance for "special cases" such as this

[r.lksm.com...]
and change the www.motorcycleworld.com/wallpaper/default.cfm to www.MYSITE.com and it will send you right to it..

Looks like [lksm.com...] is a different DB than [looksmart.com...]

I submited a site on 1-31-00 via excite and it's listed on [looksmart.com...] but not on [lksm.com...]
