A while back I submitted 8 pages to AV. They listed 2 pages in 2 separate categories.
Is there any way I can code the existing pages listed on AV so when scooter stops by it will pick up additional pages and add them to the search without human intervention? a hallway page maybe?
It seems AV staff will not add anymore pages -- need to get in quite a few more pages.

It sounds like your submitting through Looksmart.....did you pay for your listings?
Anyway...the easiest wat to get AV to spider your site would be to submit through the add url form [altavista.com...]
You'll have to be patient though.....AV hasn't been doing much spidering the last couple months.....
The url you mentioned is the one I used. The submissions were reviewed by a real person and I did not pay. Odd.
Should I try to resubmit a page again? I don't want them to remove the two pages they've added to the directory.

**I think** they were reviewed by a real person because they added the submissions to two (2) categories in AV.
Last submission: I believe it's been at least two months ago.

This is very odd.... First of all Looksmart handles AV's directory, second Looksmart got rid of free submissions back in June, and thrid Looksmart uses a completely different form than the one I posted above.....
Putting that aside, Yeah I would try to resubmit...probably just the homepage and 3 or 4 supplementals...then I would wait and see if scooter comes a crawling (this could take awhile with AV's current condition)
Yeah, I thought it was odd - they took 2 of my submissions and added them to the directory.
I'll go ahead and submit the cover page again.
