What does Inktomi look for?

With the big Yahoo move to Inktomi imminent, maybe it would benefit a lot of webmasters to initiate a discussion of what we should (or should not) be doing to make our sites Ink friendly.

There is loads of information out there on Google rankings but less for Inktomi. For instance is it a good idea to be paying for inclusion at this time, maybe Yahoo has a very different payment model in mind? What about link popularity, how important is this to Inktomi? How is Yahoo likely to incorporate the Inktomi database with AltaVista and All The Web? Will Ink results still appear on its non Yahoo owned partners?

To me these are crucial questions, I'd love to hear what ya'll think.
