By the end of September I had 70 pages added to the Ink index. I never paid to be included.
Ink is visiting my site constantly and has visited all 1500+ pages.
However, Ink never adds any more pages. Sometimes they will add a new page, but they drop another. They never have had more than 72 of my pages or less than 68.
Why are they juggling pages? When will they add these other pages that they have been spidering since Sept.?
Thanks.
Nothing has changed with the Yahoo! Switchover, except that my rankings now such on Yahoo! too.
How does one get Ink to list more pages without doing PFI for the pages?
James
If you submit just one of your pages, they will drop all the rest of your site's pages in the hopes you'll than pay for ALL of them to be included.
There is nothing you can do. Just sit back and wait for Inktomi to include the new pages. If the new pages are linked from the existing ones that Ink knows about... than they know about the new ones as well.
Inktomi does not index nearly as much content as Google (at least not till now)... PFI causes them to index even less. Hopefully this will change soon with Yahoo's new focus on search.
