MSN after LookSmart goes

What wll the order of play be?

I think that at the moment the order of results on MSN is something like this;

1. Featured Sites
2. Sponsored Sites
3. Web Directory Sites (Looksmart)
4. Web Pages (Inktomi)

What do you think the order will be say a couple of months into 2004? Presumably they wont just leave a hole where Looksmart was.

Baseon on what's showing on msn.co.uk as well as the comments in their press release, I'd say that is exactly what they are going to do.

Top 3 = Overture
The Rest = Ink (Which will ultimately be replaced by content from MSNBot)

Has MSN gone to just OT and Ink? For days now the directory listings of LS have been gone. I thought MSN was going to wait until Jan 15th.

Looks like they've been testing it here and there. I was startled a few days ago (Northern California) when LS results had disappeared for me, but not elsewhere in the country.

The results are back for me again.
