slurp in my site

inktomi slurp ing my site fast and free

Hey there...
Seems like it might help ...? to know that Inktomi is slurp ing my site currently. The site has only been up for a month and a half. I have not paid for any inclusions anywhere including INK , but slurp has been at my site every day beginning on July 8 to the present july 18. I only submitted one time through the free submit process.
Hope this is useful to someone thinking of paying for submission.

I've noticed, too, that pages I hadn't paid for inclusion on Inktomi have suddenly started appearing in results. Makes me wonder, is this going to be an ongoing practice or just an occasional game of catch-up to avoid becoming irrelevant.

This has been going on for about a year, if I recall correctly. Sometime last summer (around August maybe?) they started spidering as much of the web as they could and my pages suddenly started showing up in MSN searches. Ever since they see to have been spidering paying and non-paying sites with equal enthusiasm. Makes you wonder what the PFI people get for their money :)
