Altavista Black List

Back in my early SE days, I over submitted to altavista. It's now almost 4 years and they still refuse my domain. I've submitted an alternative domain that works the same and they index that one fine. Anyway to get off their eternal blacklist?

Have you tried emailing them?

I've never been able to get unlisted - so I suggest you keep going with the alternate domain.

At least Altavista is tough on spammers.

Well, I submitted twice per week for one week, but I wouldn't have considered it spamming. I didn't see any guidelines about frequency of submission on their site.
