as for positiontech search, a very good tool, but as mentioned who uses that "exact" algo.
I was under the impression the poster wanted exact position #s in serps, which the chart can slightly help towards based on their reports and showing what keyword at what position.
its late 11pm and hot, so excuse me if its not making any sense...

I've always had nice steady increase with Ink, except lately when a client changed brands so we built new pages, added a few more to p-tech
we got a nice surge and I thought great but it's been declining for two months straight now, it may be the market so competitive, more each day - which it is
I think it's always good not to jump for joy anyway, I think the gods can spot that.
1. How many people are using MSN.
2. How many people are using Look$mart PPC.
It appears from some independant analysis that #1 has been increasing steadily for the last 8 months.
#2 seems impossible to gauge. However, logically if more people use MSN and Look$mart is not widely being used for PPC then the big influence is related to the historic "rebate" clicks allocated to directory sites. The more MSN users the faster these rebate allocations run out. i.e. the faster true INK results get to the top.
WGT checking positions for INK results what is wrong with PT's Pure Search, HotBot.com (which seem to be the same), MSN Web pages, and Overture backfill's? Manually by hand is simple enough, a little PHP or Perl script can do it fairly easily if you want to automate it.....maybe I didn't understand the question?
