Why does Altavista make it so absolutely ridiculously impossible to read the submission code these days? I had to refresh the page 4 times before I had one I could read!
Maybe they're afraid someone is writing a bot that can actually read a crisp, clean image. :)
Seriously, I agree 100%. Last one I saw a few days ago had one of those ancient English fonts that no one could read.

Yes, but 3 months on I've still been unable to make the first page! I get the feeling you'd have more luck if you paid for inclusion.
Obviously the philosophy that helped the downfall of AV.
Me, but the sites don't have that many pages. That they spider the few dozen of mine might not be relevant to people with 10,000 page sites.
Yep, several hundred sites included for free all with great rankings. I haven't figured out yet whether these sites get included because of link structure or my patience with the submit code feature.....either way AV works great. Although I admit I also have to refresh a couple of times to see that free submission link code!
Now all they need to do is market the dang thing so that more people use it. Top 10 SERPs for every relevant keyword imaginable and still only 2.2% of all SE traffic from AV....It is so frustrating to have such great results and comparatively so few visitors.
