Removal of Inktomi Penalty?

Hello,
Any help on this one would be appreciated. We have had a penalty imposed against our domain from Inktomi over a year ago. Since, we have attempted to clean our site and rid it of any questionable material; however, the Ink penalty remains and we have been unable to get any type of response whatsoever from emails to Inktomi, PositionTech or Bcentral about removing such penalty. Has anyone had any luck at having a penalty removed in Inktomi ever, or is it hopeless?

I haven't had any penalties from Inktomi myself, but I imagine that contacting them (especially the vendor that you subscribed with, if you paid) & I'm sure somebody can shed some light on it.

Also another member might have some better ideas as well :)

I think your best bet is to simply ask Inktomi... what's up?

Asking Ink would be a great idea, in fact I even had it....they never answer...ever

You should be able to call Positiontech about it.

call them and let them know what you have done to th clean uo your act and is there anything else you need to do to get the penalty lifted.

watch you logs for ink ip's and call them again

I am in a similar situation .. have been emailing them at [e-mail] every once in a while. The next thing that I am pinning my hopes on is not paying them to continue PFI and let them kick the site out for a few months and then restart .. may be that gives it a fresh lease...

Yes, one would hope that to be true. I too have waited until my subscriptions ran out, yet that 2 months later has yet to help. Letter writing...seems hopeless
