Inktomi feeds

Who to use?

I am looking to get a feed into Inktomi. We already do direct xml feeds to several other SE and we don't use an outside company. Since it appears that Inktomi doesn't do a direct feed and I have to go through a third party, who would everybody recommend?

Here are the caveats. I DON'T need any help with my internet marketing. I DON'T want to be pitched on what else they can do for me. All I want is to be able to hand over my updated feed so that they can hand over my updated feed to Inktomi. Is there anybody who does just that?

they are about as direct as you can get to Inktomi if any.

They used to...have direct deals / attempt to cut out the middle man :)

However, since the Yahoo buyout, that may have changed.

Keep hounding them. We got them to give in to letting us do it ourselves within the last 2 weeks.

I've been trying for 3 months now. No answer from Inktomi. I would prefer to deal directly since I can do it myself. I will give it one more try.

Right now I have feeds to AV, froogle and dealtime (kinda a CPC bid/feed hybrid there). Surprisingly we are getting sales from froogle already but for really weird, off the wall stuff. Go figure.

I have held off on fast simply because I wanted to see how the whole OV thing will play out. How they will be used and whatnot. They are next on the list though.

But I'm really anxious to get into inktomi now that it looks like yahoo will use them to replace google when their current contract runs out.

How you doing with the AltaVista feed? does it work for you? We just start with them so I just wonder

We've been breaking even so far. I have been making some changes to copy and what not to see if we can boost the listing and that seems to be making a difference, but I am only seeing it in the past 2 weeks.

The clicks seem to be eratic. There are days that we get lots and days when we get barely any. I can't figure out why but the conversion stays the same so I'm not worried.

They've been pretty good with picking up the feed and the one time I had a problem, they looked into it and made sure everything was working

Just an update.

I tried the Inktomi form one more time and I was shocked and surprised when I got an email from them 10 min later. It does pay to try that one last time. :)
