MSN Question

Only home page listed

I was able to get my home page listed #1 in MSN via a listing in Zeal. However, only my home page is listed. Shouldn't MSN find the rest of my pages? Do I need to submit each page individually? I thought that the MSN bot would follow links to index the rest of my site.

Zeal is a directory, i.e. a list of sites.

MSN uses spidered results from Inktomi. With good links the Inktomi spider will eventually find you, and index your whole site for free.

It is also possible to pay for inclusion in the Inktomi search engine, but here you pay per page,and they seem reluctant to index any of your pages for free if you have paid.

MSN does have a complex strategy, there is much more that I do not know since I am indexed for free by Ink.
