Altavista - competitor wiping the floor.

one of my competitors frequently holds 45 of the top 50/60 places for around 30/40 keyword cobminations becuase they use Altavista PFI.

How much traffic does Altavista UK get and is it worth it?

Last month, less than 1% of our traffic came from AltaVista UK, so personally I wouldn't pay for inclusion.

It's not worth worrying about.

However, it is interesting that the PFI pages are doing very well.

Some time ago I remember Danny Sullivan writing something about PFI pages getting a big boost at AV. Not that it matters a nobody uses AV, but still interesting.
