Slurp out on full crawl?

Every site I've looked at this morning has been spidered hard by Inktomi the last few hours.

Is this the start of the first big Yahoo db build?

How soon after you're crawled do you typically show up in the pure Ink results?

I sure hope so, Ink seems to have crawled every site I have during the last 2 days. Very unusual. I pray for the day Y! shows these results and displays them exclusively :) I Guess the Overture ones won't disappear, but I can live with that as they don't seem to be much of a distraction to most surfers ;)

One of my most important sites just spidered to death by Inktomi. My results are very good. I need some tissue to wipe the tears from my eyes on this one. I'm crossing my fingers that Yahoo is going to go head on with Google by using Inktomi's results.

Any sign that Yahoo listed sites are getting preferential spidering treatment?

I've had it suggested to me that being spidered by Inktomi and being indexed are very seperate things all together. It will be interesting to see the result of this crawl.

I have a feeling this chat forum is going to become more and more important than the google one in days ahead. I had no idea I'd be looking forward to Inktomi results.

I think inktomi has been updated, am seeing some traffic from them to relatively new pages. Also these pages are featuring well on Metacrawler (which BTW is a great place to see your situation on the SEs) with inktomi tags.
