Yahoo is buying Inktomi

I do not see the article yet, but my Stock broker just called an told me that a deal was announced for Yahoo to buy Inktomi for $1.65 / share.

This really shakes up our industry. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Will MSN let Yahoo(Inktomi) backfill their search results?

Will Yahoo turn Inktomi into the next Google? (granted Inktomi has been around alot longer and at one time had the same market share that Google now has)

Will this elimate an Engine from the arena?

Should be an interesting 2003
