The Goo Search Engine?

What is the Goo Search Engine and how to Submit a Site

Hello,

I came across the post about submitting your site into Goo - a Japanses search engine - to help get your site spidered by Inktomi. I've never heard of Goo before - so exactly what is it? Inktomi is still ignoring my new site so am trying to get any help I can get.

I think I found the goo site. Is this the correct url? [goo.ne.jp...]

If this is the correct URL, how do I go about submitting my site? I don't know Japanese and the translation software at AV didn't let me get into the "URL Registration" area - it kept returning a "babel fish" error, whatever that is.

Any ideas?

Hi Jim, you can find more information about Goo and the other Japanses engines in the Asia-Pacific Forum [webmasterworld.com], but to get you started you can submit to Goo here [goo.ne.jp]. The first field is the URL and the second is email.
