AltaVista tittle and description question.

Hi, just want to now why Alta don't change the tittle and description for my site cause a had change it long time ago...in the first times a made a lot of mistakes then changed all and submited my site one more time but i don't see changes on it, sorry for my questions i'm new on this..and for my bad english too!

No problem voodoo, understood perfectly. This has long been the case at Alta Vista, you will just have to be patient, it will eventually change to the new title and description, but it can take months.

If you can do it, remove the pages from your site and submit them so that they are removed from the index. Once they are gone then re-submit the ones with your new title and description. It is hard to say which method is faster, since "deleted" pages can hang around for a while too.

I prefer the first method, i.e. to just wait, but I suppose it depends on how bothered you are by your current title and description.

It has also been said that AV won't reindex a page unless it thinks that the page has been changed significantly. Try adding a bunch of <br> tags to the bottom of the page. This should alter the page size and increase the likelyhood of an update.
