"In a regulatory filing, Inktomi said it will have to purchase its headquarters by Aug. 30, unless it can "replace the financial participants" in the lease arrangement. "

Does it seems strange to anyone else reading that story about Ink that the company needed to lend the CEO about 6 million or so?

Is the guy working there, or partying like a rock star?

Those add up to some pretty dismal financials...it sounded like INK was confirming it wouldn't be profitable this next quarter, either...and to top it all if, if it buys that building, it has less than a $100 million left.

And in the quarter ending June 30, they lost more than $237 million..am I reading that right?

If I am, it reads as though they will be out of business (if they buy the building) by the end of the year.

Crazy. Bye, bye, INK.

Perhaps Google isn't so crazy, not to have PFI?
