Refreshed in 1 - not the other

I've paid for several urls to be listed in Ink via Positiontech.

I changed the pages on the 10th, positiontech says they were refreshed on the 12th yet my Ink positions are identical to what were there previously.

How long after PositionTech says you've been reindexed, does Ink reflect the changes?

johnser are you referring to Pure Search or the Ink partner sites, like MSN? Each of the partner sites updates according to their own schedule, those can all be different.

With the last update, for a free page just included the first time I saw it was with one lone hit from Looksmart.

Sorry Marcia - should have made that clear
Pure search. Once I'm on there the partners will follow

john, ink positions may or may not change - what would change is your title etc. or other modifications you did.

Hi web_india
Really? I didn't know that. I would have thought that with Ink PFI you get a chance to change your position every 48/72 hours?

The pages I've changed are very different to what used to be there.
Does this mean I've to wait till the next core update to see any changes reflected? Poo if thats the case.... :(

Bearing in mind they'd 1 last week, that might be ages although Mr/Mrs Ink did say somewhere here they're trying to do a refresh every 14/21 days

Thx

what it allows you is to get into ink db at the earliest and see refreshed content updated every 48 hours so that in case you made any modifications they are updated. just try to make some changes in the title tag and it'll be updated after 48 hours.
positions would change for the better only if other things like relevancy and optimization have been taken care of too.
