When searching MSN for 'Magriel' [go.msn.com] I noticed all but the third results link directly to the web page. The third WEB PAGE looked like this:

Buy Backgammon at Amazon.com
Shop at Amazon.com where you will find a huge selection of books at great prices. Shop here for Backgammon and find more books by Paul Magriel. For a limited time, get free shipping on orders over $49!
www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0812906152

The title wasn't linked directly to amazon but instead it was a redirect using http*//redirect-west.inktomi.com/ and Inktomi's Amazon partner ID has been added.

Nothing indicates that this is not a regular search result. But is it? Is this in accordance with FCC rules?

Listing as MSN looks like a regular listing.

here is another url, with little bit more details

alltheweb [alltheweb.com]

*I think* what they are doing is having an affiliate account with amazon, and during appropriate searches it is shown. Not a bad idea.

But again, if this was the case, then why only 198 results ?
