Altavista redirect

Back again?

Yesterday, when I typed the .com adress, I was directed to the .com site, which was what I wanted. Today I'm redirected to the .co.uk... which is NOT the point (same computer, same IP). I know they have already done that in the past. Anyone knows if they are conducting some tests or something?

Btw I'm in Switzerland, so wouldn't .ch be more obvious than .co.uk if any redirect?

I haven't tried hitting the international AV's for a while, but it does look like they've made some changes to the way they're directing visitors...

They won't let me out of the .com, If I try going to .co.uk, I'm redirected to uk.altavista.com. The same applies to the rest of the international AV's...
