What does AV REALLY want?

I have spent untold hours searching the web, lurking in forums, buying "Unfair Advantage" books and reverse-engineering results for my keyphrase (IT jobs). I still cannot seem to muster what it is more-or-less exactly that AV wants. Is it 250 words of text, one and only one mention of keyphrase in each of descrip, title, h1, bold, etc.? KW density of x? I failed so miserably (after hiring an SEO specialist) in my last submission that my marketing job hangs by a thread. I need to hit this submission off the charts.

I built a very deep and relevant site the first time around (IMHO) but my keywords were ones never searched on. (Proud moments.)

I did recently reserve another URL: java-resumes.com but no work has been done there. I thought maybe I should have a test site since I am so hopelessly lost.

Try putting IT jobs in your title and description.

Note: AV is case sensitive

If your job is hanging in the balance, buy www.it-jobs-it-jobs-it-jobs.com
and then send traffic to your employers site

Looks like you only have 1 page indexed at AV, you need to use every page in the site. Add some variety to your titles and try and focus each page at a search term. In essence you need to build the site around your targeted keywords.

Are you suggesting that I select different keywords/phrases for each page? Then do I need to have a certain density of keywords embedded in the text/other hooks related to that page?

It appears that your title and description tag are the same on the couple of pages that I looked at. Definitely change these around to get more keywords in the title and description. I looked at your "clients" page and it basically just listed the clients. Why not put in some ad copy with relevant keywords and then have the clients listed?
Is it possible to secure reciprocal links from your clients and then have the text link to you say something like " Positions filled by Iquestconsultants: The personal service web site for IT contract staffing"

And then of course you can buy 10 or so additional domains (rich in key words) and do the same with them (but dont copy your existing site or AV will ban/demote them) and cross-link all of your domains with key words in the link text.
