Among the points:
*cloaking is a good thing
*more layoffs expected
*streaming media sales poor
*google has too good a product for y!
*a general sense of foreboding

Some statements that I thought stuck out...

AOL arrangement is going away in september

I was expecting a switch sooner..

can clearly show Yahoo that their bleeding about 20 to 25% of their traffic because of google's destination site

In addition to this.. he talked about long term success by keeping with their strategy to not compete with their customers..

Contrast this broadcast with the CEO's last audio stream, in that one the "plan forward" was a 180 of this one. In that stream he completely de-emphasized the search engine aspect of Inktomi's business and said the way to profitability was in streaming media.

This is an important strategy. Yahoo must be nauseated at having taken a ho-hum search engine and catapulted them to the number one competitieve spot in a matter of months, at the expense of Yahoo stickiness.

Way to go, Yahoo!!!!! Your investors are impressed!!!!
