To See if Update Occurred?

Quick question...

Several pages on my site were already indexed by Inktomi (I guess from links from other places). I paid for my front page to be indexed because I wanted it always up to date. The reseller I got my crawl registration from says that the spider's been there, but I just can't see it in my logs ANYWHERE. Since I didn't change my "Description" meta tag, is there any way to see (from any of the people who use inktomi results or elsewhere) exactly what the cached by them?

TIA

Not that I know of...

If I were in your shoes.. I'd probably just make a very small change (like adding an extra space) that won't affect your ranking but is apparent visually to your description..
