I have a question re: search terms.

I have some sites that are listed #1 at AV for verious keyphrases. I checked in GoTO Suggestions, and it shows that there were over 2k-3k searches for the keyphrases, but my stats show that the sites aren't getting much traffic from AV despite their top listings.

I'm wondering if this is just because AV isn't a very popular engine, or whether there are some other factors involved that I need to look into.

I don't know about anyone else, but I see very little traffic from AV.

Same here, but im small time, and AV never gets round to spidering me properly. An update a few weeks ago helped a bit, but I assume AV still commands respectable traffic on the whole.

If your targeting youth, kids, students topics there is a significant amount of usage from Canada and US (and Middle East of all places, probably US bases.).

More specific science catagories, 75% of traffic for one site come direct from AV and out performing GG and YH combined.

Go to Google type in Wordtracker and the freebee using AV as a demo

Be advised returning info is not precise. A good rule of thumb ... reduce all values by at least 50% of keyword search results.
