Recent changes at Inktomi?

... did they change their ranking algorithm recently?

Hi.

Starting from May 1st, 2002 some of the keywords for which my website used to get top positions on Inktomi powered SE's now give poor results (e.g. #30 instead of #3).

The same happened (to different extent) to my competitors' websites.
Also some really irrelevant sites occupy top positions now.

Have anyone heard about any changes in Inktomi's ranking algorythm recently?

Welcome to webmaster world. Haven't heard of any changes to the algo but think they are going to have a big change to their bank account: [webmasterworld.com...]

There was some changes; I noticed that only unpaid (PPI)sites seem afflicted.

Well, looks like it affected paid listings, too! Any ideas how to fight the changes? :)
