Inktomi confusion

Hi everyone
I have a very good ranking in ink and was making some nice sales on it up until about a week ago then everything just stopped. My rank is still the same. I have no idea of what happened and its driving me crazy. I have also noticed that my traffic is cut down by at least half. What could cause this? I also looked at the sites above mine and see there is no difference there. If anyone has any idea I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks

Could your market be affected by spring break?

No, I doubt it. The drop was so sudden, it just doesn't make sense to me. Its just so confusing to me.

Could it be related to overture listings on msn or atop other ink portals?

Was the traffic across all ink providers or was the loss limited to just one ink site?

Sorry to ask such a basic question, but are you sure the link from your Inktomi page is correct - have you changed the URL or moved the page(s) on your site?

Also, is you ISP having problems - it may be that your page is being served as a 404 Not Found or other error. This could account for such a sudden drop in traffic.

Lastly, and again forgive me for another basic observation, is everything OK with either the optimised page the Ink link is pointing to (broken/dead links etc) or your home page?

Speaking from personal experience, it's often the most basic things that get missed when we are all chasing our tails!
