If I pay for one page in Inktomi,

will rest of the pages dissappear?

My site has lots of old pages in Inktomi database. They are often spidered, but it seems to take ages before the changes I make can be seen in the SERPS. My question is: If I pay for one page to be spidered, how does it affect rest of the pages? Will they be excluded?

Hi.

It's a question we've all looked at, some views are as soon as you pay you loose all your free listings others myself included feel it is possible to have both free & paid in Ink, although over the last few weeks things do seem to have a bit amiss

This thread here may help you; just make sure you've got all morning to read it

I fall on the side of "it's better to be safe than sorry" Until there is some kind of guarantee from INK that you won't have all your freebees deleted, I wouldn't take the chance.

For now you would be better off buying a new domain and do any paid pages there with redirects to your main site.

I personally have lost whole sites by paying for single pages... :(

It has been fascinating to see that some pages I registered over 3 years ago still show with the same meta descriptions used back then even though the sites have been updated and changed many times.

I've had paid inclusions within these sites addressing new sub-directory additions. No problems....)(yet.....knocking on wood)...

The new page submissions are showing and established links from years ago still show. I'll let you know if anything changes.
