Is anyone getting any good traffic or good ROI as a result of using the av paid submissions.

All I hear is doom and gloom about it and that AV is just about to be taken over by overture or fall over.

I certainly don't. AV seems to boost your ranking a bit with paid inclusion, though I doubt they would ever admit that.

As for traffic, well, they send a lot lot spiders my way, but very few people.

I tried the inclusion program for a six month period. It recently expired, I did not renew.
To much old junk and dead sites cluttering the db. Looks like they updated the db, not sure how it would perform today. I am not going to pay to find out.
