Pay for Spidering vs Index Connect

Hey people. Thanks in advance for you help again.

I have been looking at submitting a good 1000 product specific URL's of an ecommerce site to Inktomi.

Options appear to be either the simple pay for spidering route or paying on a performance basis with Index Connect.

Is there any advantage to Index Connect or is it for people who can;t be bothered to optimise their site as well using only the pfs route?

Or have I got my performance and spidering in a knot?

With a 1000 pages, I don't think the traditional paid submission program will be an option. You'll probablly have to go with IC.

The main advantage of IC is the fact that you don't actually need to build 1000 html pages. The disadvantage of course is paying per click. :(
