My question really is, we tried to revise our site but having done that it makes us wonder after more than 72 hours still ranks the same as if almost nothing really change.
And it seems to rank even far from that to categories that we totally deleted words from site descriptions, keywords, page site itself.
Is there any explanation from all this.

WElcome!!! Ignore the published time for inclussion and or spidering. It can take longer and in some cases a lot longer.

Depending on when you hit the spidering cycle and when MSN, AOL update the Ink database; 3-7 days has been the norm before updates are shown. To my knowledge, I have not had an update take over a week.

Thanks for clarifying that up for me...
So, am I to assume that if i should add or have another completely different url, that is "paid for inclusion", would it mean the same wait before being spidered as opposed to 48 hours that they promised.
Or is this a completely different situation.

I usually use the PT Inktomi Pure Web Search to determine how the pages are going to do once in the final database.

this forum had given us tips and tidbits "getting your way to get a good ranking". ABout my previous question on INK
PFI which I came accross with from this forum that INK primary position is inclusion and has nothing to do with site ranking. If a REVISED site has been posted say after 48 or 72 hours later, am I to assume that after
seeing our site logging behind in its ranking that it isn't final 'till say AOL
completes its spidering cycle according to "minnapple" which would take place give and take of 3 to 7 days, then that would indicate our final placement if we rank better or poorly again say AOL.
It has been over months and we still see no
progress and our site still remains where it was since after that 48 or 72 hours.
And also, my understanding that it normally
takes once every month for AOl as far as I know that schedule spidering is done!
Correct me if I am wrong and clarify this for me please...Thanks!
