submission loophole or bad idea

Is it a good idea to submit to goo to get into inktomi?Will your site make it into the regular inktomi database via the goo index? It seems to me that the goo index is isolated. The results on some of the searches I have been trying are unique to goo. Has anyone ever got a site in the mainstream inktomi database via goo?

AND is it beneficial to submit your site to every inktomi portal with add url capabilities? Does it hurt?

We submit to Anzwers - Canada - and Hotbot very syccessfully. Have not really looked into Goo, hopefully some will get in here with some insight.

I have looked at it but i have yet to find a way to do use an auto submission program as all the code is in Japanese. Any ideas. I will give it a bash if I can find a way to read it. :) always willing to try something new.

I submit to goo - and I believe it is maintained as a somewhat isolated db. It is worth it, I get a couple hundred refs from goo and yahoo Japan daily.

most of the folks here don't speak Japanese. Do you mind walking them through submitting at Goo. What box or text to click on etc.

We've never submitted there - do you know if any of the submissions end up in the english/uk/us database?

Submit is on the left, reset to right.

They spider aggressively so no need for continual submissions if your link structure is in place.

Thanks, just went there to take a look. Took me a second to see that it's the box with http: in it and the box below is for the e-mail address. Looks like I'm going to have to learn a new language...

Anyone else having a good experience from submitting through Goo?

Goo does spider aggressivly. I'd suggest that the readilly available database is not the regular ink db. If you review the results of a search, you'll notice either filtering or a separate db. I think it is a separate database because of the returns i get when searching.
Is this another way in to ink? I'm not so sure. The database seems to have many unique urls which really couldn't be indexed by the other ink spiders.

It's a stand alone db that is collated with the main db every-so-often.
