url: vs. host:

Is there a difference?

Does anyone know if there is there a difference between doing a url:[domain] and host: search?

There is no difference from what I can tell.

Here is my dilemma. I was researching a domain that I am competing with and they have many separate sites with other country's extensions. For example...

www.domain.com
www.domain.com.jp
www.domain.com.ru
www.domain.com.etc,etc...

What I am trying to do is filter out the foreign domains and just get the indexed url's of the www.domain.com site. Any suggestions?

do the url search, then do a - host: or - site: for the other domain. You can combine them.
