My heart reaches out to our nation that has been hurt - to victims who have families that love them as our families love us. Please take just a moment of silence to remember those lost and hurt due to the recent cowardice acts of terrorism on our country.

A few days have passed and the initial shock-turned-outrage has passed -- the reality of living with the attack has taken hold. I am profoundly saddened and grieve for the people of New York and our country. They have been in my thoughts and prayers continuously since Tuesday.
