If you want to search the Inktomi database only (not via one of its partners), you can now use a page offered by Inktomi partner Positiontech.

Shows me a problem with ink, definetly has not gone away.
Partner listings, were displaying a dreadful description, which was changed and the directories are now listing, however ink picked up this partner desc and adopted it in place of the index description, which was brillant for the introductory page, which in effect has weakened the site in more peculiar search's.
Will pure INK, revert back to the index page own meta description, or stay with the adopted ex-directory listing.
Pure INK and MSN ink and LS ink, don't seem to be much difference.

Can you be indexed by ink, without paying PT on every page ?
place a link to the new site on a few currently well listed Ink sites slurp comes, and the new site is listed in a Inktomi cycle it will take about 3 mths, otherwise get your credit card out

I haven't quite got that figured out. I only have 25 or so active pages on my site. Of course, the 9 pages I pay to have indexed are there. Some of the ones I haven't paid to have indexed are there and some aren't, but I don't know why. Maybe they were in the index before I paid.
Another thread [webmasterworld.com] in this forum indicates a way to get included in the index free.
