Hello,

Inktomi does provide results to AOL. AOL is changing the way they display
results, we understand that Inktomi will continue to be strong there. Our
testing with MSN's beta site suggests that Inktomi will also continue to be
a major influence there also.

Webposition Gold told me that the AOL results are mixed.

The way AOL displays its results seems very convoluted and inefficient. Let's hope they use a simple format ala Yahoo...and that they keep Ink?

If those are ink results sprinkled in with the ODP results, I'm curious as to which database they're using.

But as far as Ink in AOL, I remember that the Compuserve results used to be exactly the same as the AOL results (AOL bought CS, right?)

I just checked CS because I had a (rare) hit from them and there's a goto listing on top with Ink results following. (but not exactly the same as MSN or GOTO results) The serps seem to resemble the old AOL results.
