I am still finding loads of our old pages doing well and climbing on AOL, MSN, Canada and Hotbot. We have not paid any position tech fees for spidering.
Those who are well positioned, do you have paid pages which are well ranked? old pages? new non-paid pages in and performing?
Are you getting traffic e.t.c
Our pages have obtained the best positions ever on Ink but havent seen much of an increase in traffic
We have both old pages and a few paid pages that are ranking well. INKTOMI could not clean out the old pages in their db's because the would only be left with paid pages - which are for the most part, paid spam in my opinion.
INK use to be the highest quality results available (IMO) and now it's just whoever is willing to pay. Very sad to me because I was INK's biggest fan.
I think their portals (MSN, etc) will wake up to the poor quality search results and find another "results supplier"
With that in mind, since there is a no money back, take it or leave it policy, we are for the most part leaving it...
