Paid submissions from Inktomi (part 2)

Inktomi are well aware that they are loosing customers because of the high prices. Compared to e.g. Fast.

They said that the price will go down. That might attract search engines to use their services again. They lost a lot of partners during the past year.

With less partners/customers their importance as a search engine will demise.

The submission service will also be available from Network Solutions. My guess is that there will be even more resellers.

If you have to pay $199 for Inktomi, then why not just pay NSI the $199 fee and you get placed into the Inktomi program and are listed in the Dotcom database. I wouldn't pay anyone for just Inktomi.

1. Consider this: How can you identify a paid entry vs free entry?
2. Ink, consider this: How can charities and non proft making organisations benefit from this?
3. Everyone: How many referals do you get from being in the Ink db?
4. Surely, SEO is still required as I've not understood this to be "positioning."
