For example if you were to focus the page on the keyword phrase: hotel discounts
Then sprinkle in a few city names such as: New York, Chicago, Dallas
You may be able to achieve optimal rankings for:
new york hotel discounts
chicago hotel discounts
dallas hotel discounts
All from the same URL....
The question is the thresh-hold for the number you could sprinkle into the formula, the competitiveness of the target phrase, etc., etc., etc...
But isn't that what we're all about? Research, testing, and more research is the difference between success, and just saying "no that won't work"... :)
We successfully accomplished this on Excite, back in the old days for very competitive target keyword phrases....

I absolutely agree with you on this point. You can definitely target more than 1-2 KW or KP per page. My prior response I gave was to the targeting of 50 KW's on one page.
The beauty of the every 48 hour index is you can tweak and tweak to come up with an optmal number of KW's or KP's per page. I just think that the threshold will be below 50.
On a slight tangent, does the new pay for perfomance algo seem the same as the non-pay algo or is there a "double-standard" algo in place here?
