Glad to se that Microsoft as THE leading company in the market is right on the beat and up front when it comes to knowing what is going on in the market and what new trends are showing in the distance.

The report isn't very friendly towards the term "SEO" is it? It simply calls SEO spam - without even suggesting that some SEO is just elegant writing.

I note Larry Page's original thesis is listed as a reference source, but nothing on the Hilltop theory.

Excellent piece of research though, even though all SEOs are being lumped in with the turnkey 100,000 URLs brigade.

Ah. Remember reading that - one of my favourite papers.

I wonder why Hilltop didn't make it though? Because according to the paper, it sounded like a top-notch plan to avoid SPAM.
