When did MSN stop advertising through overture? I see that MSN unveiled their own advertising program on 5/4, but when did they stop on Overture?

1.) They decided it would be more profitable to cut out a middle man from their search advertising. I agree.

2.) Yahoo/Overture was slowly becoming less profitable with the inclusion of shady 3rd party resellers of ads and had a chance of severely tainting the MSN user experience as MS gears up to compete with Google. I doubly agree with this.

Simply a good business move for them. Bad for Yahoo, of course. MSN is some of their best converting traffic in most verticles.

MSN continues to partner with Yahoo!/Overture in all international markets outside of France and Singapore
